Nob Hill Neighborhood Association

13th Annual Architecture Walk

Thanks to caring stewards Nob Hill continues to portray the architectural character of its period of development. We are the stewards of one of the best preserved early 20th Century automobile-oriented suburbs in the world.

Join us as we explore how Albuquerque grew onto the east mesa above the sand hills starting in 1916.

We will meet at 1 pm on the boundary between the 1926 College View addition and the 1945 Broadmoor addition developed immediately after WWII. Broadmoor is one of two Nob Hill districts recently listed in the New Mexico and the National Registers of Historic Places.

We’ll then tour the 1945 Broadmoor Addition ending with a social time at two remarkable houses on North Solano Dr.

Learn to read historic houses. Learn how to research your own house. Learn how to maintain or remodel to preserve historic character and maintain Nob Hill’s distinctive historic sense of place. This walk is ideal for new residents and folks who want to dive into what makes our neighborhood so wonderful. The walk is fully subscribed but you can join the waiting list at meyster1@me.com

We limit numbers so all can hear. A reservation is needed: Email meyster1@me.com, or call 991-1388.
