Nob Hill Neighborhood Board Meeting, July 2022

All are welcome, Nob Hill Neighborhood Association board meeting 6:30 pm in person at Monte Vista Christian Church.

The first item at board meetings is when everyone can introduce themselves and offer interests, concerns, or ideas. Then hear reports of our 5 focus area committees. Offer your ideas and your help.

AGENDA, NHNA BOARD, Wednesday, July 6, 2022, 6:30 PM, Monte Vista Christian Church 

CALL TO ORDER

-Introductions; All present are invited to share ideas and concerns

-Expression of Appreciation for director Allie Caskey who recently left the board

-Establish quorum; the board now has 10 directors; 6 constitute a quorum

-Additions, Deletions, Approve agenda

-Officer’s reports, standards for meetings generally accepted by the community

 

URBAN PLANNING MATTERS; ZONING HEARING EXAMINER REQUESTS; VA-2022-00155, PR-2019-002179, Jana Quintero requests a conditional use for cannabis retail within 600 ft of another cannabis retail location for…..4012 Central Ave. SE, zoned MW-M [Section 14-16-4-3(D)(35)(c)].

We were not contacted by the applicant and invited for a pre-submittal meeting as required by the IDO.  When this occurs we generally request deferral. Board will discuss and adopt a statement.

 

NEW BUSINESS;

-Should NHNA hold a Neighbors Night Out ice cream social on Tuesday, August 2? Volunteers are needed to plan.

-Should NHNA provide $285 times three and hold a drawing to purchase a plaque within each of the 3 historic districts listed in the NM Register of Cultural Places?

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

-Pedestrian Study was presented to community June 22. Should NHNA hold a followup community outreach to identify short, medium, and long range courses of action based on study recommendations?

-Should NHNA organize small-scale free public programs or events in city parks such as picnics, performing arts, recreation, movie, or cultural events under CABQ Neighborhood Park Activate program?
